LEADERSHIP
WACAN faces significant challenges requiring leadership. Administrative and management type concerns include fundraising, project management, and vendor relationships. Issues of self-governance, development of content providers, and nurturing of sub-communities are also paramount to WACAN's success. This calls for leadership.
The Center for the Study of White American Culture, Inc. presently provides the support structure needed to launch the WACAN project. However, the Center's financial and labor capability is not sufficient alone to sustain WACAN through continued growth. And, for a self-developing community such as WACAN intends to be, relying on the invisible hand of an outside agency falls short of a sound plan.
WACAN's future depends on the leadership that emerges from within the WACAN community.
