WACAN was originally designed to support domestic activity in the United States. Recognizing the close ties and similar experience with Canada, WACAN also included Canadian registrations in its original framework. In August 2006 WACAN was modified to accept registrations from other countries. The focus of WACAN content will continue to be northern North America (our inclusive term for the USA and Canada). In time, however, we may expand content provided by WACAN to other regions and countries. WACAN members, of course, may use the WACAN forums and other tools to supply their own content covering anything of their choosing, provided it does not conflict with the basic WACAN beliefs. The basic WACAN beliefs are spelled out when entering the registration process.
